Terms and Conditions

Cox and Kings Global Services Private Limited ("CKGS") has been appointed by the Ministry of External Affairs through the Embassy of India, Washington DC (‘Mission’) for providing services, to the Indian Embassy and Missions in USA, in respect of passport services applications (‘Services’) at the designated exclusive passport service centers namely Indian Passport Application Centers (IPACs) at Washington DC, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, New York and San Francisco.

The following Terms & Conditions constitute the legal basis for the rendering of Services by CKGS.

For the purpose of the Terms and Conditions, the Applicant is a natural or legal person and has agreed to use the Website and/or receive the Services from CKGS. By registering on the Website the Applicant shall be presumed to have accepted this electronic version / electronic record of the Terms and Conditions and has allocated, if applicable, himself / herself a unique identification user name ("Username" and "Password").

The Terms & Conditions govern the Applicant’s use of Website (defined below) as well as the Services and are acknowledged as having been read, understood and agreed without any limitation or qualification by the Applicant through submission of his / her complete physical applications including full payments to the designate CKGS PACs. These Terms and Conditions constitute the Applicant’s binding contract and obligations towards CKGS for the request and receipt of the Services.

Except where covered under CKGS Refund Policy below, all fees are non - refundable and will be retained by CKGS on payment by the Applicant even if the Applicant does not make or proceed with the application and whether or not the application is granted.

No employee of CKGS has any authority whatsoever to change, amend, amplify or withdraw any or all of these Terms and Conditions without prior written approval from CKGS.

These Terms and Conditions also contain a disclaimer which limits CKGS liability to the Refund Policy stated below.

USE OF WEBSITE

By accessing this Website; the Applicant represents and warrants that he / she is not legally restricted from accepting the Terms and Conditions and thus executing this electronic version / electronic record forming a binding contract towards CKGS for the request and receipt of the Services.

The website www.passport.in.ckgs.us contains the required information in connection with the Services (“Website”). The said Website will be updated as per the instructions of the Missions and will change from time to time without any notification from CKGS to the Applicant(s). The Applicant should check this page regularly to take notice of any changes that may have been made to the Terms of Service.

The Applicant shall only use this Website to request processing of the passport service applications contemplated herein and shall not use this site for any other purposes, including without limitation, to make any speculative, malicious, false or fraudulent comments/applications/demands etc. The Applicant shall not make any requests in the name of fictitious person. The applicant agrees that he / she will not use any device, software or routine that would interfere or be reasonably expected to interfere with the normal working of this Website. The applicant agrees that he / she shall not take any action that imposes a burden or load on our infrastructure that CKGS deems in its sole discretion to be unreasonable or disproportionate to the benefits CKGS obtains from your use of the Website. The applicants are prohibited from posting or transmitting any unlawful, threatening, libellous, defamatory, obscene, indecent, inflammatory, pornographic or profane material or any material that could constitute or encourage acts or omissions that would amount to a criminal offense or attempt to commit a criminal offense, or give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law. In addition, the Applicants’ are prohibited from posting or transmitting any information which (a) infringes the rights of others or violates their privacy or publicity rights, (b) is protected by patent, copyright, trademark or other proprietary right, unless with the express written permission of the owner of such right, (c) contains a virus, bug, worm or other harmful item or programme that may, fully or partially, damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept and/or expropriate or compromise any system, data or important information, or (d) create any liability for CKGS or cause us to lose (fully or partially) the services of our ISPs or other suppliers. The Applicant shall be solely liable for any damages resulting from any infringement of copyright, trademark, or other proprietary right, or any other harm resulting from applicant’s use of this Website.

This Website may contain links to other websites ("Linked Sites") including links to the websites of the Mission, which are not operated by CKGS. Consequently, CKGS has no control over such Linked Site(s) and accepts no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from the Applicant’s use or access of them. The Applicant’s use or access of such Linked Site(s) will be governed by the terms and conditions of use and service contained within each such Linked Site(s).

The access to this Website is granted on a temporary basis, and CKGS, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to withdraw or amend the Services without notice. CKGS will not be liable if for any reason this Website is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, CKGS may restrict access to some parts or this entire Website.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
CKGS is the outsourcing partner of the Indian Embassy and Missions in United States of America for providing the following categories of services singularly or in combination (these will be collectively referred to as “Services”).

  • Passport support services pertaining to issue/renewal of Indian passports
  • Any other Passport related service required by the Mission/Posts.

For this purpose, CKGS is responsible for scheduling appointments, receipt of complete applications including full Fees (as defined herein below) from individuals(each hereinafter referred to as the “Applicant”), submission of applications to the Missions in USA, collecting processed passports / documents from the Missions and returning the passports / documents to the Applicants.

Note: The list of the services can be modified by the Mission as and when required and CKGS shall not be held responsible / liable for any such change/s in Service/s.

GENERAL OBLIGATIONS
It shall be solely the Applicant's responsibility / obligation to provide CKGS with all required duly signed government forms, letters, and documentation as per the Document Checklist (the checklist can be accessed by clicking Passport Application-Get Started) of the relevant service type and category. Document Checklists are not exhaustive. The Missions may ask for additional documents and payments as stated in CKGS website. Fees, rules and documents are subject to change without any prior notice. Please further note that acceptance of the application by CKGS does not guarantee that such Applicants’ information and supporting documents as provided are deemed sufficient.

Applicant must submit / send photocopies of the supporting documents (not originals) unless originals are requested. Information regarding which documents are required to be self-attested or notarised as has been provided in the Document Checklist.

Important: Applicant must ensure that they enter their correct & contactable personal details such as email address, mobile number, and address on both the CKGS form and the Govt. form at the time of submissions online or offline and must not enter their third party agent's email and / or address. Documents will be returned to the address stated on the form. If the Applicant has changed his/her address, then valid proof of new address will be required at the time of submission of the application to CKGS.

Whilst CKGS employs reasonable care and diligence to check Applicant’s application form for obvious errors on the face of the form, CKGS does not guarantee to detect errors within Applicant’s form and neither does not undertake to verify any information that the Applicant provides. The Applicant is solely responsible to ensure accuracy, correctness and completeness of the information incorporated in the application form and other documentation provided as per the Document Checklist. In case of applications for new passports following expiry or loss/damage of old passport ensure that the information provided in the application form is in sync with the information (except change in permanent address if any) in the lost or expired passport.

It is also the responsibility of the Applicant to carefully check the information on the Passport such as but not limited to the name, spellings, passport number, type of service and category and validity, etc. before incorporating or affixing the same in the application form.

FEES
The Fees payable by the Applicant are as follows:

  • Passport Fees – [Consular Fees]
  • ICWF Fees – [Consular Fees]
  • CKGS service charges – [CKGS Fees]
  • Value Added Services like text messages, form filling service, Shipping (optional) etc. [CKGS Fees]

Note: The above Fees / charges are payable on per application basis.

CKGS Service charges shall include service fees towards Basic Passport Services + ten fingerprint biometrics* + facial biometrics*: US$ 19.95 (US Dollars Nineteen and Ninety-five Cents) (*as and when introduced).

Please note that the payment for the services must be cleared in full by the Applicant and may be made through (i) in the case of online payments by using Credit Card and (ii) payments can be made in the IPAC by way of Credit Card / Money Order / Bankers Check favouring ‘Cox & Kings Global Services USA LLC’. For credit cards, convenience fees are applicable and are non-refundable. CKGS shall provide the Applicants with a bar-coded receipt at the time of the transaction clearly indicating separate amounts paid as Fees which will include convenience charges (applicable particularly in the case of /Credit Card transactions) as per mode of payment on actual basis, if any.

Except where covered under CKGS Refund Policy below, all fees are non - refundable and will be retained by CKGS on payment by the Applicant even if the Applicant does not make or proceed with the application and whether or not the application is granted.

Note: Personal Checks, Bank Transfers and Cash payments are not accepted.

CHANGES TO PROCEDURES AND FEES

Please note that the Fees / charges provided will be valid and applicable on the day that they are quoted and provided by CKGS.

The quantum of the Fees and/or the procedure for payment/accepting Fees is the sole prerogative of the Mission and is subject to change without prior notice at the sole and exclusive discretion of the Mission. Consequently, CKGS will not be in any position to accept any responsibility/liability for the quantum of the Fees and/or procedure for payment/accepting such Fees or any changes in relation to the same. CKGS reserves the right to pass on any increased fees to the Applicant. If the Applicant decides to make the application on a later date, and / or if the application is in transit, the Fees / charges may change.

GRANTING / REJECTION OF APPLICATION
The decision making of an application rests solely and exclusively with the Mission. The Mission reserves the right to grant / deny an application without assigning reasons and the decision of the Mission is final and binding upon the Applicant. Therefore, CKGS will have no responsibility/liability towards the Applicant for the rejection or return of his/her application by the Mission.

TIME LIMIT FOR PROCESSING

The processing times mentioned for application / s are estimated average processing time only. The processing of an application including the processing time is subject to the procedures and experience of the concerned Mission over which CKGS HAS NO CONTROL. It is subject to change on a case to case basis and more particularly so in the case of Force Majeure situations.

COMMUNICATION POLICY

CKGS normally communicates with the Applicant through the modes of email and / or by text messages.

CKGS shall provide text messages as per the following matrix for Postal / Shipping as well as Walk-in applicants:

In addition to the text messages above, CKGS may also be required to send the Applicant’s information over email from time to time to keep the Applicant updated about the changes or updates solely in relation to the rules, regulations, procedures, process etc. related to the Services or any such information which CKGS, in its sole discretion, deems useful for the Applicant. CKGS will send emails through email id noreply.passport@ckgs.com. CKGS also recommends that the Applicant should add noreply.passport@ckgs.com to white list / Approved / safe sender list.

The email and mobile provided on the Government of India online forms must belong to the Applicant who must be contactable in case of any further communication. CKGS bears no responsibility / liability if the Applicant does not respond to the ‘email and / or text messages of CKGS. The responsibility of CKGS ends the moment it has made such communication to the Applicant. CKGS recommends Applicant to double check the mobile and email details provided on the Government of India forms.

Applicants after submitting the application to IPAC and wishing to track the status of their applications can visit www.passport.in.ckgs.us/trackandtrace.

In the alternative, you can call us on (888) 585 5431 between 9.00 AM to 10.00 PM EST. Please take note of the following before calling (888) 585 5431:

  1. All information regarding your passport application is available on CKGS website https://passport.in.ckgs.us/
  2. Updated status of your Passport Application can be tracked on www.passport.in.ckgs.us/trackandtrace
  3. Our contact center may not have any additional information other than that is already available on our website and / or on the tracking functionality on CKGS website
  4. When you call (888) 585 5431, you shall reach an interactive voice response (IVR) which will guide you through the available options;
  5. No call charges are applicable through the IVR process
  6. The IVR will, basis your selection, direct the call to the contact center agent where you will not be charged for the initial 4.59 minutes after you get connected to contact center agent
  7. After first 4.59 minutes, you will be charged at the rate of $2.59 per minute inclusive of all taxes – Billing will commence after the first 5 minutes.
  8. All subsequent calls will be charged at the rate of $2.59 per minute inclusive of all taxes from the moment you get connected to contact center agent
  9. Your debit / credit card will be pre-authorized for a total of 10 minutes ($25.90). Pre-authorized amount will be refunded after adjustment for the called charge to your debit card / credit card after 24 hours

By using this Website, the Applicant has consented to permit CKGS to use the Applicants personal information for the above communications.

Erroneous / Ineligible applications

If errors (such as but not limited to mismatch of name, surnames, date of birth, gender, passport number, place of birth, date of issue and expiry of passport, signatures, photos etc.) during application scrutiny by CKGS, then such applications will be marked as “INELIGIBLE” and will be returned by CKGS as per the guidelines prescribed by the Mission. If the application has been received through shipping, it will be shipped back to the Applicant with justification. If the application has been received through walk-in, then the same will be returned back immediately. Refunds will be as per the Refund rules mentioned below.

Incomplete Documentation

Upon receipt of the application, if CKGS notices whilst processing the application, that the same is incomplete (i.e. the documents submitted are not as per the checklist which was shared with the Applicant at the time of application) and / or proper payment is not received, then CKGS will put ‘On Hold’ the processing of such application and send a communication with details about the deficiency / ies in the application. The Applicant is required to provide all the necessary documents, full payment / short fall in payments to CKGS within 7 working days from the date such communication is sent by CKGS. Refunds will be as per the Refund rules mentioned below.

Pending Additional Documentation

Similarly, after submission of documentation by CKGS to the Mission, the latter has the right to request for further documentation, supporting documents, correct and missing information on a case to case basis. CKGS will put ‘On Hold’ the processing of such application and send a communication with details about such additional information / documents and /or may call the applicant for an interview. The Applicant is required to provide all the necessary information / documents to CKGS within 7 working days from the date such communication is sent by CKGS.

Abandonment Policy

In case of Incomplete Documentation & Pending Additional Documentation situations, such application will remain on hold in the CKGS Application Center for a maximum period of 21 calendar days from the date of communication sent to the Applicant, at the Applicant’s sole risk and consequences and will be treated as ‘Abandoned’ if not addressed by the Applicant and will be returned to the Applicant as mentioned below.

If the Applicant has already paid for a return shipping from CKGS or enclosed his / her own prepaid envelope, the ‘Abandoned Application’ will be returned to the current address stated on the label. If the Applicant has not enclosed his / her own prepaid envelope, CKGS will return by Shipment, the ‘Abandoned Application’ to the current address of the Applicant. If neither the prepaid label nor have the fees been enclosed, then CKGS will consider this application ‘Abandoned’ and it will be handed over to the Mission of the Applicant’s Jurisdiction at the Applicant’s own cost, risk and consequences. The Consulate may charge an additional 23 USD per application during collection in such cases. Other Refunds will be processed as per the Refund Rules mentioned above.

If the Applicant wishes to re-apply, the Applicant will have to re-process the full application as a NEW complete application, including all applicable payments.


REFUND POLICY

CKGS TAKES EVERY REASONABLE PRECAUTION WHILE HANDLING AN APPLICANT'S PASSPORT & DOCUMENTS AND IF DUE TO ANY BREACH OF CONTRACT OR NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF CKGS, THE APPLICANT'S SUBMITTED PASSPORT OR DOCUMENTS ARE LOST OR DAMAGED BEYOND USEABLE CONDITION WITHIN THE PREMISES OF CKGS, THEN CKGS WILL PAY TO THE APPLICANT THE AMOUNT OF THE FEES CHARGED FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE LOST OR DAMAGED PASSPORT OR OTHER DOCUMENTS THROUGH THEIR NORMAL REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE AND CKGS WILL ASSIST THE APPLICANT WITH THE SAME WITHIN ITS CAPACITY. IN CASE OF A LOST / MISPLACED / DAMAGED / STOLEN PASSPORT WITHIN CKGS PREMISES, THEN THE LIABILITY OF CKGS IS LIMITED TO US $ 195 OR THE ACTUAL COST OF REISSUANCE OF PASSPORT WHICHEVER IS LESSER AGAINST PROOF OF RECEIPT.THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY LOST / MISPLACED / DAMAGED / STOLEN PASSPORT OR DOCUMENTS BY THE SHIPPING SERVICE PROVIDER. THE TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE SHIPPING PROVIDER WILL APPLY IRRESPECTIVE, IF THE SHIPMENT HAS BEEN BOUGHT BY THE APPLICANT THROUGH CKGS OR IF A PREPAID LABEL IS BOUGHT DIRECTLY FROM THE SHIPPING SERVICE PROVIDER BY THE APPLICANT.

REVOCATION / CANCELLATION POLICY

If the Applicant commences an application process, including by submitting an online application, the Applicant may revoke / cancel the application at any time. Depending upon the timing of such request by the applicant and the stage in which the application is currently; any ONE of the following refund rules shall apply:

Note:
  • *Convenience charges applicable only for Credit Card payments and non-refundable.
  • Additional charge of 1.90 $ will be levied in case of refunds done through Cheque payment.
  • CKGS will not be responsible for any penalty charges levied by the bank in case the Applicant attempts to stop check payment.
  • **Shipping charges are non-refundable if Incoming Label (from You to CKGS) is printed or downloaded by you.
  • **Shipping charges are non-refundable if the Applicant collects documents directly from the EOI / Consulate or from CKGS Application Center.
  • Shipping, SMS Services & Other VAS are all optional services
  • Refund processing time will be approximately 15 business days for all except shipping services in which case the tracking status of generated shipping label should be expired. This might take as long as 45 days in certain cases. Applicant cannot reuse Incoming Airway Bill (AWB) of Cancelled application to send new application in future.
  • ***Non Refundable under any circumstances including the following
    • Passport issued / denied
    • Passport delayed
  • **** The Consulate may charge an additional 23 USD per application during collection in such cases.

Granting of Passport is a sovereign right of the Mission and CKGS is a mere facilitator in coordinating between the Mission and the applicant as per requirements. It has NO DECISION making rights or control in grant / denial / delay of Passport.  Hence, NO Refunds will be granted by CKGS under the following circumstances:

  • Rejection of Passport application by the Mission.
  • Request for Reapplication Passport by Mission.
  • Delay in processing Passport application by Mission.
  • Non-receipt of Passport on or before the travel date.
  • Loss to Employer / Self due to delay in receipt of Passport due to nonattendance.
  • Loss due to Deportation and repatriation for any reason at the Port of Entry in India.
  • Delay in shipping of Passport by shipping company.
  • Loss or Damage of Passport in transit by shipping company.
  • Change in Passport fee by the Mission.
  • Air tickets, Hotel booking and other related cancellation due to delay or rejection of Passport application.
  • All expenses related to travel to IPAC to collect Passport including but not limited to local / interstate travel expenses, purchase of Food / Beverages, hotel accommodation, boarding/ lodging expenses.
  • Opportunity loss for time spent on Passport application.

PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL

Promotional material may follow the relevant documents (“Promotional Material”) at the time the passports are returned to the Applicant. If the Applicant does not wish to receive this Promotional Material, the Applicant must intimate CKGS in advance at the time of submitting the documents. Please note that neither CKGS nor Government of India endorse such Promotional Material.

INDEMNITY

Applicant shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless CKGS, its directors, officers, employees, consultants, agents, and affiliates, from any and all third party claims, liability, damages and/or costs (including, but not limited to, reasonable attorney fees) arising due to (i) Applicant’s breach of the Terms and Conditions of Service herein or in the Website or (ii) wilful misconduct or fraud or misrepresentation committed in making the application or receiving the Services of CKGS.

Exclusion of liability

IT IS UP TO THE APPLICANT TO TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO ENSURE THAT WHATEVER HE / SHE SELECT FOR YOUR USE IS FREE OF SUCH ITEMS AS VIRUSES, WORMS, TROJAN HORSES, MALICIOUS CODES AND OTHER ITEMS OF A DESTRUCTIVE NATURE. IN NO EVENT WILL CKGS BE LIABLE TO ANY PARTY FOR ANY LOSS OR DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CAUSED BY USE OF THIS WEBSITE, OR ANY OTHER HYPERLINKED OR INTERFACED WEBSITE OR DUE TO ACCESSING DATA RESIDING ON THIRD PARTY SERVERS NOT BELONGING TO CKGS.

CKGS DOES NOT WARRANT OR GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED ON THIS WEBSITE. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL CKGS BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CAUSED BY RELIANCE ON THIS INFORMATION. THESE COSTS MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO AIR TICKETS OR ANY OTHER TRANSPORT COST, ACCOMMODATION, AND / OR ANY OTHER COSTS. CKGS STRONGLY RECOMMENDS THAT THE APPLICANT MUST NOT MAKE ANY TRAVEL BOOKINGS, UNTIL RECEIPT OF POSITIVE CONFIRMATION OF THE APPLICATION FROM MISSION.

CKGS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE / LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE WHICH OCCURS DUE TO ANY EVENT OR INCIDENT WHICH HAPPENS OUTSIDE CKGS CONTROL (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FORCE MAJEURE EVENTS) AND WHICH IS NOT SOLELY AND DIRECTLY ATTRIBUTABLE TO ANY ACT OR OMISSION BY CKGS.

CKGS SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE / LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE, DELAYS CAUSED BY MISSION, PROCESSING AN APPLICATION INCORRECTLY, ATTACHMENT OF WRONG PHOTOGRAPHS, ISSUING AN INCORRECT PASSPORT AND / OR INCORRECT DETAILS MENTIONED ON THEM INTER ALIA DUE TO INCOMPLETE APPLICATION FORMS, INCORRECT OR FALSE INFORMATION ON APPLICATION FORM AND INACCURATE OR INCOMPLETE INFORMATION AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS PROVIDED BY THE APPLICANT.

CKGS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES & DAMAGES ARISING WHATSOEVER OUT OF THE DELAY, MISPLACEMENT, DAMAGE, NON-DELIVERY OR LOSS OF PASSPORTS, DOCUMENTS OR MONEY.

CKGS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIMS THAT MAY ARISE DUE TO CHANGE IN ADDRESS OF THE APPLICANT FOR THE RETURN SHIPPING.

CKGS IS NOT LIABLE / RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WRONG ADDRESS / CONTACT DETAILS MENTIONED BY THE APPLICANT IN HIS / HER APPLICATION / DOCUMENTS AND / OR LABEL INCLUDING PREPAID SHIPPING.

CKGS IS NOT LIABLE / RESPONSIBLE TO THE APPLICANT IF THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THE COMMUNICATION POLICY MENTIONED HEREINABOVE.

IN CASE OF A LOST / MISPLACED / STOLEN / DAMAGED PASSPORT WITHIN CKGS PREMISES, THE LIABILITY OF CKGS IS LIMITED TO US $ 195 OR THE ACTUAL COST OF REISSUANCE OF PASSPORT WHICHEVER IS LESS AGAINST PROOF OF RECEIPT THROUGH NORMAL REPLACEMENT PROCESS. CKGS SHALL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE / LIABLE FOR ANY FINANCIAL CHARGES OR LOSS / DAMAGE OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER INCURRED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FOR SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION. FURTHER NO OTHER COSTS OF AIR TICKETS, TRANSPORT, AND ACCOMMODATION STAY OR ANY OTHER COSTS SHALL BE PAID / REFUNDED.

Shipment

CKGS always uses the services of shipment service companies for the purpose of transmission of passports and documents. Their respective terms & conditions shall apply in addition to these Terms & Conditions. CKGS will not be responsible / liable for any loss or damage whether direct, indirect, incidental or consequential, caused due to transmission delays or loss or damage of passport or documents, delivering the documents to the wrong address in the course of transmission of documents by CKGS to the Applicant.

This applies also in the course of transmission of documents by CKGS to the Mission and back from the Mission to CKGS. CKGS would however, make best attempts to trace the Applicants’ documents or assist the Applicant in obtaining alternative / certified copies of the lost documents.

Should the Applicant decide to avail the return shipping facility from CKGS, the documents will be returned only to the registered present address or permanent address as specified in the shipping address proof submitted by the Applicant.

In case of a change of address for the return shipping, CKGS will be unable to assist with this change request and does not take any liability / responsibility for such claims that may arise.

SHIPPING POLICY FOR PREPAID LABELS BOUGHT DIRECTLY BY APPLICANTS

If the Applicant has submitted a Prepaid Envelope / Shipping Label along with the application, CKGS cannot take any responsibility of pick-up and delivery to the Applicant. In such cases please note that CKGS Services will not include the responsibility to drop off the Applicant’s prepaid envelopes to its Shipping Service Provider as the Shipping Service Providers often do not acknowledge receipt of envelopes. Nor will CKGS drop off the Applicant’s prepaid envelopes to their Shipping Service Provider as the Applicant has not bought the shipping service from CKGS.

FedEx & USPS Prepaid Envelopes sent by the Applicant are NOT accepted. Handwritten Envelope / Labels sent by the applicant are also NOT accepted. For prepaid labels, CKGS will not be liable / responsible to contact the Applicant and if the Applicant ignores this point, for any delay/rejection occurring will be Applicant's liability / responsibility.

CKGS offers “Standard Overnight Service” for FEDEX and “Next Day Air” for UPS to applicants without signature and without standard insurance. Applicants are free to opt for insurance / signature services of their choice.

APPOINTMENTS

Rescheduling or cancellation of confirmed appointment is allowed up to forty eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled date of appointment. CKGS service fee will not be refunded if appointment is not cancelled or applicant is unable to honor the appointment.

COPYRIGHT POLICY

CKGS holds the copyright in respect of this Website, and the content provided in this site, including the text, graphics, button icons, audio and video clips, digital downloads, data compilations and software, may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed without the written permission of CKGS, and/or its third party providers and distributors, except that the Applicant may download, display and print the materials/information/forms presented on this Website solely for the purpose of processing of the passport service applications contemplated herein. The Applicant may not use any "robot," "spider" or other automatic device, or a program, algorithm or methodology having similar processes or functionality, or any manual process, to monitor or copy any of the web pages, data or content found on this Website, in any case without the prior written permission of CKGS. The Applicant agrees that he / she will not transmit or otherwise transfer any Web pages, data or content found on this site to any other computer, server, Web site, or other medium for mass distribution or for use in any commercial enterprise. Unauthorized use of this site and/or the materials contained on this site may violate applicable copyright, trademark or other intellectual property laws or other laws. The Applicant must retain all copyright and trademark notices, including any other proprietary notices, contained in the materials, and he / she must not alter, obscure or obliterate any of such notices. The use of such materials on any other Web site or in any environment of networked computers is prohibited.

SCOPE OF TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions have to be read in conjunction with the Declaration & Undertaking, Disclaimer, relevant Document Checklist and Forms and the Privacy Policy.

The Applicants agree  to allow CKGS at its sole discretion to  use  any of their, comments, reviews  related to CKGS Services made available in the public domain and / or through private communication such as emails, letters etc. and distribute  such contents  in any of their documents, any promotional materials, websites and any type of media.

CKGS reserves its absolute rights to alter these Terms and Conditions and / or any other documents any time without advance notice and without offering any reason.

As to the interpretation of the foregoing, the decision of CKGS shall be final and binding upon the Applicant.
